Time in Tallinn

This blog was created to document my adventures in Tallinn, Estonia... SUMMER 2005. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Philipians 3:12

Wow. That's all I'm saying about my experience so far in Estonia. There were some downs at first but the ups have outnumber them 74365 to 1 (that is an exact count). Emily took this picture at the volleyball game and devo at one of the Baltic Sea beaches...as you can see it was absolutly AMAZING! In this picture I am trying to stay warm... Peeter (my Estonian fiance) is on the right and Jaime(the oldest girl Banks) is on the left with some of the girls there. Volleyball was fun. My passion is the younger teens and working with them so I had a great time getting to know the two girls there (I renamed them Mary and Sally because I was butchering their names so badly... funny thing is, now EVERYONE is calling them that... it makes them laugh and that makes my day). My 'best friend' Anna (Anna-mul) is amazing and she is acting like our semi-tour guide. She speaks 4 languages and is the CEO of her own company (her father is Nikoli, the preacher at the Russian Church here).
I've made a lot of lifelong friends here and I'm starting to build really wonderful sharing relationships with each of them... it's REALLY amazing what God puts on your tounge to speak to people... it's still a overwhelming feeling! Alright, that's all I have to write...

    Emily,

We are back in Abilene now. I caught up on the blog entries we missed while we were traveling. Don't hassle Adam about my class. A pass is a pass. I end up with a lot of "repeat offenders" in that class, so Adam can be happy he made it through (grin).

JACK WHITE!! AWESOME! How bizarre to run into him in Estonia. We were in London on the day of Live 8, but we didn't see anyone famous.

    Hope your camp goes well.
    Jonathan
